Designed as an immersive destination, the museum will feature state-of-art digital installations, interactive galleries, thematic exhibitions, light and sound presentations.

The LG said that the initiative is expected to boost religious tourism and contribute to local economic development in the region.

“Special emphasis will be laid on promoting traditional handicrafts, including sculpture-making and artistic replicas inspired by Shrine and broader Shakti tradition. Dedicated spaces will showcase artisans’ craftsmanship, facilitate live demonstrations and promote indigenous art forms.

“By integrating scholarly research with innovative storytelling, the museum will cater to both devotees and knowledge seekers alike. It reflects the Shrine Board’s commitment to preserving heritage and presenting India’s timeless traditions in a contemporary and globally relevant manner,” the LG said.

Meanwhile on the occasion of Ram Navmi today, the LG paid obeisance at Bawe Wali Mata Temple in Jammu. He prayed for peace and prosperity of J&K UT and well-being of one and all, a separate press release informed.
