Srinagar: Police in Pulwama apprehended a drug peddler at Tahab General Road near the Hostel of Dolphine Paramedical Institute, a police spokesperson informed Thursday.
He said Tariq Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Nabi Wani of Wahipora Litter, was arrested after search of his vehicle (JK03C-9715) yielded a heroin-like substance weighing about 20 grams, police said, adding that the vehicle was also seized and a case registered under relevant section of law for investigation.
