Nasir Khuehami, National Convenor of Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), told news agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) that upon their arrival, the Jammu and Kashmir administration stepped in to facilitate their final journey home. “Following their arrival in Delhi, the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister’s Office has arranged AC sleeper buses for the students’ onward journey to the Union Territory,” he said.

Khuehami said the arrangements were coordinated by Nasir Sogami, Advisor to the Chief Minister, to ensure a safe and smooth return of the students to their homes.

The AC sleeper buses were deployed to facilitate the safe, comfortable, and timely transportation of the evacuated students and pilgrims back to Jammu and Kashmir, he said.

This was undertaken in view of the long road journey from Delhi and to provide relief to students who had already endured a difficult evacuation process amid the prevailing crisis in Iran, Nasir added. (KNS)
