Mother of journalist Mushtaq-ul-Hassan passes away in Tangmarg

Tangmarg: Shah Begum, mother of journalist Mushtaq-ul-Hassan and wife of late Ghulam Hassan Lone, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday.

A resident of Ferozpora, Tangmarg in Baramulla district, she breathed her last at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.

Following her demise, the funeral prayers were held and she was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard.

The family has informed that the Rasm-e-Chaharam (fourth-day ritual) will be observed on Friday, March 20.

People from the area, including members of the journalist fraternity, expressed grief over her passing and extended condolences to the bereaved family.

Kashmir Images family also expresses grief over the demise and prays for the departed soul.
