Delegations call on LG Sinha in Jammu

JAMMU: Several delegations and individuals called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu on Sunday and discussed various social, cultural and religious initiatives.

A delegation of Bharatiya Jain Sanghatna, J&K, led by its President Sandeep Jain, met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed issues related to the community and its activities in the Union Territory.

Another delegation of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Pracheen Marg Shrines Sanstha, headed by its President Harbans Lal, also called on the Lieutenant Governor and extended an invitation for the ‘Pratham Puja’ of the 24th Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Pracheen Marg Pavitra Chhari Yatra 2026, scheduled to be organised on March 22, 2026.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ritu Singh, Chairperson of Raghunath Jee Jammu Aarti Sanstha, also met the Lieutenant Governor and briefed him about the proposed ‘Nari Shakti Aarti’, a spiritual initiative set to commence at Shri Raghunath Ji Temple, Jammu, during the upcoming Navratri festival.

In a separate meeting, Dr. Abhijeet Jasrotia, BJP spokesperson from Jammu and Kashmir, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
