Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Provincial Vice President and MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi today addressed a meeting of the party’s Women’s Wing of Lal Chowk constituency.

The meeting was convened by Provincial President Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri and was attended by Provincial Secretary Women’s Wing Ayesha Jameel along with several party workers.

Addressing the gathering, Pardesi emphasized the vital role of women in strengthening democratic institutions and society. “Women have always been at the forefront of social change and community building. Their empowerment is essential for the progress and prosperity of our society,” he said.

He urged party workers to actively engage with women at the grassroots level and encourage their participation in public life. Pardesi also highlighted the need to create more opportunities for women in leadership, education and economic activities.

Er. Sabiya Qadri and Ayesha Jameel also spoke on the occasion and stressed the importance of strengthening the Women’s Wing to address issues concerning women at the grassroots level.
