Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesperson informed on Friday.
He said one Mohammad Shabuddin alias Sbabu, son of Bashir Ahmad of Krankshivan Sopore, was arrested after SpasmoProxyvon Plus capsules were recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tarzoo, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the source and wider linkages involved, police said.
