Srinagar: District Legal Services Authority Srinagar (DLSA) Srinagar has informed that the First National Lok Adalat of the year 2026 will be conducted at the District Court Complex Srinagar on March 14, 2026 (Saturday), under the supervision of Chairman DLSA (Principal District and Sessions Judge) Srinagar, Haq Nawaz Zargar.

The National Lok Adalat will take up a wide range of pre-litigation and post-litigation cases for amicable settlement.

The cases to be settled during the Lok Adalat include pre-litigation matters, cases pending in courts, bank recovery matters, labour dispute cases, public utility services cases (excluding non-compoundable matters), criminal compoundable offences, matrimonial cases (except divorce matters), cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, MACT cases, land acquisition cases, rent matters, easementary rights cases, injunction suits, specific performance suits and other civil disputes.

DLSA Srinagar has urged all concerned parties and advocates desirous of settling their cases, disputes and claims through the Ist National Lok Adalat to approach the District Legal Services Authority Srinagar or the concerned courts on or before March 09, 2026, so that their matters can be resolved amicably.
