Residents said the continuous “hide-and-seek” of electricity supply has left consumers dissatisfied with the Power Development Department (PDD). They added that in villages where smart meters have been installed, people are also facing problems due to low voltage.

The locals demanded an uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehri and Iftar and appealed to MLA Gulmarg Farooq Ahmad Shah to personally intervene and take up the matter with the concerned department.
