Budgam: Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, on Monday launched the ‘e-Nigrani App’, a Constituency Development Management Information System (CDMIS), to enable effective management and real-time monitoring of development projects across assembly constituencies of the district.

The application has been developed as a dedicated digital portal to streamline tracking, supervision and reporting of constituency-level developmental works and to strengthen coordination between government officials and legislators for the timely completion of projects.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said the platform has been introduced to enhance transparency and accountability in implementation of development works. He said legislators would be able to monitor ongoing projects in their respective constituencies in a structured manner.

Officials informed that the portal will collect and securely store detailed information about projects, including descriptions, funding sources, implementing agencies, timelines, financial allocations and progress reports. The system also incorporates real-time monitoring features to facilitate continuous oversight and reduce delays.

The administration said the CDMIS-based platform is expected to improve inter-departmental communication, support better planning and promote data-driven decision-making while strengthening institutional monitoring mechanisms across the district.

“With the launch of the e-Nigrani App, the district has taken another step towards technology-driven governance and efficient delivery of developmental initiatives,” the DC said.

The launch ceremony was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Executive Engineer R&B, District Informatics Officer NIC and other senior officers.
