Jammu/Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir organized booth-level programmes throughout the Union Territory to collectively listen to the 131st edition of Mann Ki Baat, the popular monthly radio address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Senior party leaders, activists, and residents participated with enthusiasm, underlining the party’s commitment to strengthening public engagement and inclusive development.

J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, along with MLA Vikram Randhawa, heard the broadcast at the residence of MLA Devyani Rana at Booth No. 24, Gandhi Nagar Mandal in the Bahu Assembly segment. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Mann Ki Baat continues to motivate citizens especially youth to embrace innovation, responsibility, and community values. He highlighted how in today’s episode the Prime Minister spoke about India’s leadership in the recently concluded Global AI Impact Summit, describing it as a turning point that showcased the country’s technological capabilities and creative solutions that benefit farmers, livestock management and heritage preservation.

Sat Sharma also noted the Prime Minister’s call for digital vigilance, urging people to guard against online fraud while adopting technology responsibly. He referred to PM Modi’s inspiring mention of organ donation stories, such as that of a young donor whose selfless act saved lives, reinforcing the message of compassion and social awareness that resonates deeply across communities.

J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, along with other senior leaders, listened to the broadcast at C-Pattan, Booth Haarinara (62) in Srinagar. Ashok Koul said that the Mann Ki Baat programme reflects the nation’s progress rooted in responsibility, innovation, and cultural pride. He emphasized that today’s episode reinforced the importance of encouraging students during examinations, adopting local solutions, and responsibly engaging with emerging technologies.

Koul reiterated that organizing listening sessions at the booth level enhances the party’s grassroots connect, ensures the Prime Minister’s message reaches every household, and inspires every citizen to contribute to the broader national vision of progress, unity and shared prosperity.
