Srinagar: The Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Saturday announced a scheduled shutdown of two 33 KV taplines for maintenance works.
According to the department, the 33 KV Achabal–Cherpora Tapline and the 33 KV Harnag–Khanabal Tapline will remain shut, resulting in interruption of electricity supply to Shangus, Nowgam and Cherpora areas. Power to the 33/0.433 KV installations, including the 1.0 MVA DC Residence, will also be affected.
The shutdown will be observed from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on February 24 and February 26, 2026.
KPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled power outage.
