He was accompanied by BJYM President Arun Prabhat, District President Adv. Sheikh Salman, J&K BJP Spokespersons Sahil Bashir and Manzoor Bhat, along with other senior leaders.

The Sammelan witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, students, entrepreneurs, and party workers, reflecting the growing interest of young people in national economic policies and development initiatives.

Addressing the youth, Ashok Koul said that the Union Budget 2026 is a forward-looking and youth-centric budget that lays a strong foundation for employment generation, innovation, and inclusive growth. He highlighted that the budget places special emphasis on youth empowerment and startups, strengthening India’s rapidly growing startup ecosystem. He noted with pride that India now ranks 3rd globally in the startup ecosystem, which reflects the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Koul further stated that the budget promotes Atmanirbhar Bharat, encouraging youth to become job providers rather than job seekers. He added that enhanced focus on skill development, innovation, MSMEs, digital economy, and new-age sectors will open vast employment opportunities for young Indians. He also underlined provisions aimed at women’s empowerment, ensuring greater financial independence and social strength for women.

Arun Prabhat, speaking on the occasion, said that the Union Budget 2026 has created new hope for the youth by supporting startups, skilling programs, and entrepreneurship. He asserted that the budget motivates young people to actively participate in nation-building and take advantage of emerging opportunities.

District President Adv. Sheikh Salman, while concluding the Sammelan, expressed gratitude to all senior leaders, speakers, and participants for making the event successful. He thanked the youth for their active involvement and reaffirmed the BJP’s commitment to empowering the younger generation of Jammu & Kashmir.
