Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council will conduct selection trials for the Senior Softball teams (Men and Women) of Jammu and Kashmir on February 9, as part of preparations for the upcoming North Zone Softball Championship (Men & Women) 2025–26.
According to officials, the trials will be held at the Football Ground of GGM Science College, Jammu, starting 10:00 am onwards. The selected players will represent the J&K UT in the North Zone Championship scheduled to take place from February 12 to 14, 2026, at Shri Guru Granth Sahib University, Punjab.
All interested and eligible softball players from the J&K UT have been advised to report at the venue on the scheduled date and time with the required documents, including two recent passport-size photographs, Aadhaar card, health and fitness certificate, and domicile certificate.
The trials are expected to witness participation from players across the Union Territory, as the Sports Council aims to field competitive teams for the zonal championship.
