Delegations, BJP leaders call on Lt Governor Manoj Sinha

Jammu: Former Minister and Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, on Saturday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.

Earlier, Amna Choudhary, Member of the District Development Council (DDC) from Bunjwah in Kishtwar district, also met the Lieutenant Governor and apprised him of various local issues and development-related concerns of her constituency.

In another interaction, a public delegation led by Tariq Hussain Keen, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters pertaining to public welfare and regional development.

Subsequently, a delegation headed by Mohd Yousuf Bhat, former BJP District President Shopian, also met the Lieutenant Governor and raised issues concerning development initiatives and public grievances in south Kashmir.

The Lieutenant Governor gave a patient hearing to all the delegations and assured them that the issues highlighted would be examined for appropriate action in accordance with established norms and priorities.
