Special Lok-Adalat on Criminal Compoundable cases on Jan 31 in Gbl

GANDERBAL: As per the Plan of Action/Calendar of Activities for the year 2026, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Ganderbal, in collaboration with the Tehsil Legal Services Committees (TLSC) Ganderbal and Kangan, shall organise a Special Lok-Adalat on Criminal Compoundable Cases on January 31, 2026.

The Special Lok-Adalat will be conducted at the District Court Complex, Ganderbal and the Munsiff Court, Kangan, with the objective of facilitating amicable settlement of criminal compoundable disputes.

The general public and litigants, who wish to have their eligible cases settled through the Lok-Adalat process, are informed to approach the concerned courts, District Legal Services Authority, Ganderbal, or TLSC Ganderbal/Kangan for referral of such cases to the said Lok-Adalat on or before January 25, 2026.

The initiative aims to provide an effective platform for parties to resolve their disputes amicably, speedily, and cost-effectively.
