Pulwama: A man who sustained critical injuries due to electrocution was brought to the SMHS Hospital Srinagar on Monday after being referred from the Sub District Hospital Tral.
Hospital sources said the man was injured after receiving an electric shock while repairing something at his residence in the Loardgam area of Tral.
The injured has been identified as Sheraz Ahmad Bhat (40), son of Abdul Majeed Bhat, an inhabitant of Loardgam Tral. He was initially taken to SDH Tral, from where he was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for specialised treatment due to the seriousness of his condition.
Sources at SMHS Hospital said the patient’s condition was serious.
