Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized the critical importance of administering polio drops to every child below the age of five, irrespective of previous immunization status. He urged parents and guardians to actively participate in the campaign to ensure that no child is left out, reiterating that collective efforts are essential to keep the district polio-free.

The DC appreciated the efforts of the Health Department and field functionaries for their dedication in planning and executing the drive, including outreach to remote and underserved areas.

The Pulse Polio Immunization Drive will be conducted across the district through fixed booths, mobile teams, and door-to-door visits to ensure comprehensive coverage. Special emphasis has been laid on high-risk and hard-to-reach populations.

He also inspected patient care management at the hospital and reviewed arrangements made by department at all the health institutions in snowbound areas with CMO and concerned officers in light of ongoing snowfall and rainfall in the district.
