JAMMU: Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, today inaugurated the Block Development Council (BDC) Building at Nagrota, Jammu

Secretary RDD Ajiaz Asad, Director RDD Shahnaz Akhter, DDC Nagrota Joginder Singh, DDC Dansal Shamia Begum, along with senior officers and local residents were present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, the Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment towards providing basic infrastructure and effective governance at the grassroots level. He said the newly inaugurated building will enhance dethe livery of Rural Development services and bring administration closer to the people of Nagrota constituency.

The Minister emphasized that the Omar Abdullah-led government is focusing on reaching every citizen in rural areas and ensuring easy access to essential facilities and development schemes.

Secretary RDD highlighted the department’s dedication to public welfare, noting that such infrastructure plays a crucial role in promoting RDD schemes by ensuring the presence of local officers at the doorstep of rural communities.
