Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal have arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest for six years.
A police spokesperson identified the arrested individual as Mohammad Munshi Gojer, son of Wali Mohammad Gojer, resident of Khanpora Nagrota, who was wanted in Case FIR No.50/2020 U/S 279, 427 IPC of Police Station Gund.
Acting on specific information, a police team apprehended the absconder and after completing legal formalities, produced him before the Court JMIC Kangan, wherefrom he has been sent to Central Jail Srinagar.
