The meeting was attended, among others, by Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad, senior party functionaries Ayesha Jameel and Dr. Syed, along with several workers from different blocks of the district.

Addressing the gathering, Afaq exhorted party workers to work in close coordination to effectively communicate the vision and achievements of the National Conference.

“The Omar Abdullah–led government has taken several pro-poor and pro-people initiatives aimed at addressing the everyday concerns of the common masses. It is our collective responsibility to take these initiatives to every household and ensure that people are fully aware of the sincere efforts being made on their behalf,” Afaq said.

He emphasised unity, discipline, and sustained engagement with the public to further strengthen the party’s connect at the grassroots level.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer Ahmad stressed the importance of teamwork and consistent outreach.

“Party functionaries must work in tandem and highlight the developmental and welfare-oriented measures undertaken by the Omar Abdullah–led government as well as the dedicated efforts of the respective Srinagar MLAs. Only through coordinated efforts can we effectively counter misinformation and reinforce the National Conference’s commitment to the welfare of the people,” he said.

The duo collectively underscored the need for regular interaction with the public, addressing local issues promptly, and reinforcing the National Conference’s pro-people agenda across Srinagar.
