Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Kulgam and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
At a checkpoint established at Furrah Bypass, police intercepted two and later arrested two persons — Javaid Gulzar Ganie and Shahid Mushtaq Bhat, both residents of Furrah – after 115 grams of cannabis-like contraband substance was recovered from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Qazigund for investigation, police said.
