KPDCL announces power shutdowns across Kashmir from Dec 10–17

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has issued a detailed schedule of planned power shutdowns across several districts from December 10 to 17, 2025.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL shutdown of 33 KV Wanpoh-SICOP line will be observed due to which power supply to Bijbehara, Shamsipora, Veeri, Nowbugh, Guree, Kanelwan, Srigufwara, Cheeniwooder and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on 11 & 13 December, 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33KV Khiram Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Khiram, Mahind, Sirhama, Shalgul, Nowhara and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on 13 December 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 kV Kulgam-Devsar line will be observed due to which power supply to Devsar, Pahloo, Sopat, Akhal, Hablish, Kilam, Malwan, Chamgund, Ariutno, Kanchewa, Ashmuji and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:30 PM on 11, 14 & 17 December 2025

Similarly, shutdown of 132 KV Mirbazar-Mattan Transmissionline will be observed due to which power supply to Pahalgam, Achabal, Mattan, Gopalpora, and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:30 PM on 10 December 2025.

Furthermore, shutdown of 33 KV Wanpoh Ashajipora and Wanpoh Malaknag line will be observed, due to which power supply to Ashajipora, Dialgam, Malaknag, Hazratbal, Brakpora, Doonipawa and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 03:30 PM on 10 December 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Seelu Tap line, Sidiq Colony Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Seelu, Bomai, Brath, Shangergund, Model Town, Kapra, Noorbagh, Essential and adjoining areas will be affected from 11.00 AM to 01:00 PM on 13 December 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Amargarh Bandipora line will be observed due to which power supply to Watlab, Dooru, Tujjar, Hathlangoo, Botingoo, Warpora, Khunsa and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on 15 December 2025

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Amargarh Sopore line will be observed due to which power supply to Court road, Hospital, Noorbagh, Badamibagh and adjoining areas will be affected from 10:30 to 02:00 PM on 13 December 2025.
