SRINAGAR: The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) Kupwara today carried out an inspection of the Observation Home at Harwan Srinagar, led by Principal Magistrate JJB, Mudasir Bashir, along with the APP and Legal cum Probation Officer.
During the visit, the Superintendent of the Observation Home guided the team through an extensive tour of all residential facilities, educational classrooms, recreational areas and medical facilities.
The inspection team closely examined the living conditions to ensure they meet appropriate standards, assessed hygiene protocols, reviewed the overall infrastructure, and evaluated safety and security measures implemented within the facility.
The Principal Magistrate and the team conducted conversations with the juveniles to gauge their well-being and progress in rehabilitation programs.
Furthermore, the team meticulously reviewed the legal and administrative records of all juveniles housed in the facility.
