Srinagar: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) started the Term-End Examination (TEE) December 2025 today across the Kashmir Valley and the Union Territory of Ladakh.
A total of 36 examination centres have been established by IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar to facilitate more than 32,000 students appearing in today’s examinations.
To ensure wider access and ease for learners in remote areas, the Regional Centre has set up additional centres at Uri, Sogam, Qazigund, Dooru, Thindim Kreeri, Langate, and Handwara, along with a special examination centre inside Central Jail Srinagar for eligible jail inmates. Hall Tickets for all eligible candidates were made available beforehand on the student Samarth portal.
Regional Director, IGNOU Dr. A. H. Rizvi thanked the district administrations for deploying security personnel at examination centres and acknowledged the support of postal authorities for accepting sealed answer-script parcels beyond working hours. He expressed confidence that the TEE December 2025 will continue smoothly and fairly across all centres in Kashmir and Ladakh.
