The project shall allow for alternate vehicular movement through a specialised route.

An on-site assessment of establishing a dedicated parking facility around the high-priority hospital zone encompassing SMHS Hospital, Dental Hospital and the Super Speciality Hospital to prevent roadside congestion and facilitate smooth access for patients, attendants and emergency vehicles was also deliberated upon.

The Nawab Bazar–Kak Saraie-Darish Kadal corridor via the Suner Kul bund link is aimed at ensuring smooth mobility and decongested vehicular movement.

The DC directed the concerned executing agencies to ensure that the pace of work on the approved decongestion project is maintained at a fast rate to ensure timely completion of the project, emphasising the need to prioritise interventions that guarantee swift patient movement and timely ambulance access, while minimising inconvenience to residents, traders, and commuters.
