Srinagar: A 21-year-old youth lost his life after a collision between a motorcycle and a Tavera vehicle in the Shalteng area of Srinagar outskirts on Sunday morning.
The motorcycle rider, identified as Faiq Muzaffar of Zainakote Umerabad, sustained critical injuries in the accident and was immediately shifted to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment. However, hospital authorities said the youth was declared dead shortly after arrival.
Police said they have taken note of the incident and have initiated investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the collision. (KNT)
