KPDCL announces power shutdown in Sgr and south Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Srinagar and South Kashmir over the coming days to facilitate maintenance and repair works on key transmission lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, shutdown of 33KV GIS Khanyar-Kathidarwaza line will be observed due to which power supply to Saidkadal, Nadiyar, Kathidarwaza, Central Jail, Psychiatric Hospital, PHE Pokhribal, Mir Behri Dal and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 02 December 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 kV Khiram Tap line will be observed due to which power supply to Khiram, Mahind, & adjoining areas will be affected from 10.00 AM to 04.00 PM on 04 & 06 December 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of Mattan Pahalgam Line will be observed due to which power supply to Salia, Seer, Aishmugam, Saller, Batkoot, Pahalgam and adjoining areas will be affected from 10.00 AM to 04.00 PM 0n 03 December 2025.
