Srinagar: Jammu & Kashmir BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, accompanied by party General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan, chaired a review meeting with the State Executive Members and senior party leaders at Srinagar.

The meeting focused primarily on assessing the performance in the recently held Budgam bi-election and further strengthening the organizational framework of the party in the Kashmir region.

BJP senior leader and MoS Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, J&K BJP Secretaries Mudasir Wani and Arif Raja, along with senior leaders Ali Mohammad Mir, G.M. Mir, and several other prominent party functionaries, participated in the meeting.

Addressing the meeting, Ashok Koul said that the Budgam bi-election has once again highlighted the growing acceptance of the BJP in Kashmir, reflecting the significant shift in public sentiment towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. He stressed that the rise in support is the outcome of continuous grassroots efforts made by party workers and the increasing trust of the people in the policies and welfare schemes of the Modi government. He appreciated the efforts of party workers who contributed to the improved organizational performance in Budgam.

He emphasized that the strengthening of booth-level committees, direct engagement with the general masses, and timely resolution of public grievances must remain the party’s top priorities. He asked party cadre to remain active, accessible, and future-ready to secure victory in any upcoming elections in the Kashmir region.

“Our cadre must stay ever ready to ensure the delivery of public welfare schemes to every deserving household. Reaching out to the needy and ensuring that benefits under Modi ji’s initiatives are delivered honestly and efficiently is our collective responsibility,” he said.

Anwar Khan stated that the bi-election results are a testimony to the BJP’s expanding footprint in Kashmir and the growing belief among the people that the party represents stability, development, and transparent governance. He called for further strengthening coordination between district, mandal, and booth teams, ensuring that every worker remains connected with the masses. He added that the BJP’s expanding base in Kashmir is a clear indication that the region is witnessing a new political narrative shaped by inclusivity, development, and accountability.
