The Fast-Track Court, which had been functioning from a separate temporary location due to ongoing infrastructure development, has now been formally shifted to the District Court Complex. The relocation brings all courts and judicial offices of the district within a unified campus, significantly improving accessibility and convenience for litigants, lawyers, and staff.

Justice Wani held a review meeting with the Principal District & Sessions Judge, the Presiding Officer of the Fast-Track Court, and other judicial officers and inspected the working of courts.

He assessed case management, court operations, and infrastructural needs. During the interaction, he issued firm directions for priority disposal of long-pending cases, old matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, execution petitions, and other categories contributing to pendency.

Justice Wani also met members of the District Bar Association, acknowledging their integral role in the justice delivery system and emphasising the importance of constructive Bench–Bar coordination. The Bar requested him to take measures for expediting the construction and completion of the new Court Complex, to which he assured that all necessary steps shall be initiated at the earliest.

Justice Wani also interacted with the Prosecution of District Kulgam, where PP affirmed him about the execution of warrants.

Later, Justice Wani inspected the ongoing construction of the new judicial complex, reviewed the progress of work, and reiterated the High Court’s commitment to strengthening judicial infrastructure and improving court services in the district. He also visited the ADR Centre Kulgam to take stock of its functioning and interacted with LADCs.
