“We have again and again raised the restoration of statehood in parliament. Every single day we are demanding it, and of course this is our first point to raise in the parliament,” he said.

The MP added that the National Conference has already submitted several questions on multiple issues in the Parliament that concern the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

“We have submitted many questions on different matters for the upcoming winter session. These should be included in the business list,” he said.

Mian Altaf further stated that they will thoroughly examine any bills that come up during the session.

“Whatever bills will be brought before the parliament, we will read them carefully, and wherever necessary, we will speak on them. If we are allotted time, we will also raise other important issues of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

The Winter Session of Parliament is scheduled to run from December 01 to December 19, with a total of 15 working days. Traditionally, the session begins in the third week of November and concludes before Christmas. Last year, the Winter Session was held from November 25 to December 20.
