Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Anantnag and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that during routine checking, one Owais Hassan Allie, son of Ghulam Hassan Allie of Naina G.B. Khalil, was arrested after 1.3 kgs of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under the relevant provisions of law has been registered at the Police Station Bijbehara for further investigation.
