Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar in its fresh advisory on Thursday said that isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir are likely to receive a brief spell of ‘very light snow’ from December 2-3.

It predicted a further dip in both maximum and minimum temperatures by 1-2°C from November 22 onwards.

The officials said the ongoing dry weather spell is likely to continue till December 1.

They said from December 2-3, there is a possibility of cloudy weather towards the afternoon with a prediction of a brief spell of very light snow over isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir, and added the weather will likely remain dry afterwards till December 10.

“Shallow to moderate fog is likely to continue at many places of the Kashmir division and isolated places of Jammu as well. Also, there will be a further fall in both maximum and minimum temperatures by 1-2°C after November 22 onwards,” officials maintained.
