LG Sinha meets MLA, receives Dogri books

JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today held a series of meetings with public representatives, literary figures, and social delegations in Jammu.

Dr. Narinder Singh Raina, Member of the Legislative Assembly from R.S. Pura Jammu South, called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters related to public welfare and development initiatives.

The Lieutenant Governor was also presented with two Dogri books—Dogri Sahitya Da Itihas and Duggar Sanskriti—authored by noted writer and Padma Shri awardee Dr. Jitendra Udhampuri.

In another engagement, a delegation of the Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Jammu, led by its President K.K. Khosa, met the Lieutenant Governor and raised issues concerning the community. Later, office-bearers of JP World School, Jammu, and Varinder Mahajan, President of the All India Young Blood Organization, also called on the Lieutenant Governor to discuss matters related to education and social welfare.
