JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today said that the Government is committed to overall and inclusive development of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Deputy CM stated this while meeting a wide range of public delegations from various districts at the Civil Secretariat here today.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that the government has undertaken significant developmental initiatives in every district of J&K with a focused approach towards infrastructure growth, socio-economic upliftment, and improved public service delivery.

The delegations that called on Deputy Chief Minister included job aspirants, students, members of various business associations, and representatives of civil society groups. They apprised him of their concerns, demands, and several pressing issues concerning them.

Deputy Chief Minister listened to them patiently and assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt and effective redressal. He emphasised that the administration is committed to resolving public grievances in a time-bound and transparent manner.

On-the-spot directions were issued to the concerned officers to ensure amicable and speedy resolution of several matters brought to his notice.

He further reiterated prompt service delivery to the general public and maximum coverage of beneficiaries under various welfare and developmental initiatives of the Government.

Various individuals and delegations expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for his proactive approach and immediate intervention in addressing their genuine issues.
