Srinagar: Police have sought help from the general public in the identification of an unidentified male dead body recovered at Soiteng Nowgam Srinagar.
A police spokesperson said that an unidentified male was found lying at Soiteng Nowgam. A police team removed the body to the mortuary of GMC Srinagar for medico-legal formalities and initiated inquest proceedings.
Police have urged the public to come forward and help in identification of the deceased person. If anybody has any information regarding the identity of the dead body, he/she may inform Police Station Nowgam, Srinagar on 9596770882 or PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551, or Police Control Room Kashmir on Dial 112, spokesperson said.
