During the campaign, Advocate Shamima Firdous addressed the gathering, highlighting the National Conference’s long-standing commitment to social justice, women’s empowerment, and equitable development. She said that the party has always stood as the voice of the people and worked tirelessly for the welfare of all sections of society. “The National Conference believes in inclusive growth and people-centric governance. Under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, our party has always prioritized the upliftment of women, youth, and marginalized communities,” she said.

Er. Sabiya Qadri, in her address, praised the active participation of the women of Budgam, emphasizing their crucial role in shaping the political and social landscape of Jammu and Kashmir. She urged women voters to come out in large numbers on polling day and support Aga Syed Mahmood, who, she said, represents the NC’s ideals of honesty, service, and dedication to public welfare.

Women’s Wing Vice Provincial President Shabeena Khan was also present.

The campaign concluded with a renewed pledge by the Women’s Wing to intensify outreach efforts across Budgam, mobilize women voters, and ensure a decisive victory for the National Conference in the upcoming bypolls.
