Budgam: BJP Rajya Sabha MP and senior leader Gulam Ali Khatana led an extensive door-to-door campaign in the Ompora area of Budgam constituency in support of BJP candidate Mohsin Aga for the Bye Assembly Election 2025.

The campaign saw overwhelming participation from local residents, party workers, and youth who greeted the leader and the BJP candidate with great enthusiasm and warmth.

While interacting with the people, Khatana said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu & Kashmir is witnessing a new chapter of peace, progress, and development. He highlighted that today, children are attending schools without fear, shops remain open, and tourism and business are thriving once again — all because of the atmosphere of stability created by the BJP government.

Drawing a sharp contrast with previous regimes, Khatana said, “If you want peace, development, and education for your children, vote for the BJP. But if you want graveyards, orphans, and endless strike calendars, then vote for NC and their allies who kept Kashmir burning for decades.” He added that the politics of fear and family rule had pushed Budgam and Kashmir backwards, but the people now have a chance to choose a new path of hope and opportunity.

Khatana urged the people to support BJP candidate Mohsin Aga, describing him as a young, dedicated leader committed to serving the people with honesty and transparency. He reaffirmed that the BJP stands for unity, peace, and equal opportunity for all, and under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, every corner of Jammu & Kashmir is moving towards a brighter and more secure future.
