In his address, Tariq Hameed Karra described the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji as being rooted in the values of humanity, love, affection, and mutual coexistence. He said Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message stood firmly against hatred and discrimination on the basis of race, caste, religion, or region, emphasizing that all conflicts in the world could be resolved by following his philosophy of universal brotherhood.

Karra further said that, inspired by Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi has been carrying forward a movement against hatred and for promoting love and compassion in society. He added that Shri Gandhi’s message of “Mohabbat Ki Dukan” is a call to spread affection and unity in an atmosphere of division.
