JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today met with two delegations at the Raj Bhawan.
Dr. B.N. Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Jammu, called on the Lieutenant Governor and briefed him on the ongoing restoration and rehabilitation works being undertaken at the University following the floods of August 26, 2025, which caused significant damage to infrastructure. He also apprised the Lieutenant Governor of various academic, research, and extension activities being carried out by the University to promote agricultural development in the region.
Later, a delegation of the Catholic Church, led by Rt. Rev. Ivan Pereira, Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar, also called on the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters of public welfare and community development.
