Events have been successfully launched across almost all districts of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, covering venues such as the Revenue Training Institute Jammu, DC Office Samba, DC Office Kathua, DC Office Udhampur, DC Office Ramban, and PWD Dak Bungalow Rajouri in the Jammu Division; and DC Office Kupwara, DC Office Bandipora, DAK Bungalow Baramulla, IMPA Srinagar, DC Office Ganderbal, DC Office Budgam, Circuit House Pulwama, Mini Secretariat Shopian, Mini Secretariat Kulgam, Dak Bungalow Anantnag, and Town Hall Awantipora in the Kashmir Division.

A documentary highlighting ACB’s anti-corruption initiatives was also launched, showcasing ongoing efforts to promote integrity and accountability within government institutions. It emphasized the significance of shared responsibility in eradicating corruption by fostering awareness and reinforcing the collective obligation to preserve integrity.

Under the constant direction and supervision of Shri Shakti Kumar Pathak, IPS, Director ACB J&K, the first day of events at various district venues featured sessions conducted by ACB branches in association with the Revenue Department. These sessions followed a pre-scheduled program and witnessed participation from district administrations, government officials/functionaries, and members of the general public. The respective ACB Branch SSPs, during their presentations, emphasised the importance of public participation and shared responsibility in eradicating corruption and promoting transparency in governance. The main programs were organized at the Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPA), Srinagar, and at the Revenue Training Institute, Jammu.

Interactive sessions and public engagement activities were also conducted via mobile app platforms to capture responses from officials and the public. Participants actively answered a set of questionnaires and shared feedback to help identify challenges in departmental and public service delivery systems. This exercise aimed to gather real-time feedback and enhance transparency in administrative processes. Additional vigilance awareness materials such as posters, pamphlets, and digital resources were also distributed among participants to sensitise employees and the public about anti-corruption reporting mechanisms, including the Satark Nagrik App and the ACB Official Helpline.

The events in each district concluded with an Integrity Pledge Ceremony, administered by senior district administration and ACB officials, reaffirming the participants’ and departments’ commitment to upholding ethical standards in public service delivery. The integrity pledge was also administered at ACB Headquarters in both Jammu and Srinagar.

ACB officials encouraged participants and media representatives to continue supporting the Bureau’s vigilance initiatives and to remain strongly committed to sharing the responsibility of promoting a culture of integrity and accountability throughout the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

The program concluded successfully with a vote of thanks from ACB officials to the participating employees, officers, and members of the general public.
