Nagrota: The Jammu & Kashmir unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), under the leadership of its senior functionaries, listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 127th episode of Mann Ki Baat, broadcast on Sunday across more than 5,000 booths throughout the Union Territory.

Addressing the gathering, Tarun Chugh urged everyone to follow Prime Minister Modi’s call to promote indigenous products to boost the local economy. He asked people to honour India’s culture, nature, and national heritage, saying Mann Ki Baat serves as “a bridge connecting every citizen to the nation’s soul.”

“It inspires self-reliance, cultural pride, and collective responsibility,” he added.

Chugh further said that the Modi government has helped Jammu & Kashmir emerge from the shadows of terrorism and separatism, and the region is now progressing steadily toward an era of peace and prosperity. He emphasized that the government’s inclusive governance model is driven by courage, conviction, and a people-first approach. He added that the youth of Jammu & Kashmir are now optimistic about their future, confident that development under the Modi government will reach every doorstep and uplift every deserving individual.

Sat Sharma said that Mann Ki Baat has become a historic people’s movement, strengthening the bond between citizens and leadership. He noted that the Prime Minister’s message reflects his vision of participatory governance and inclusive growth.

“The people of J&K are fully aligned with his pro-people and development-oriented policies. The BJP will secure a decisive mandate in the upcoming Nagrota by-election,” he said.

Ashok Koul called upon party workers to take the message of Mann Ki Baat to every household, emphasizing that the party’s strength lies in its booth-level organization. He urged the cadre to ensure that Modi Ji’s message of development, unity, and self-reliance reaches every voter in Nagrota.

Sham Lal Sharma reiterated the party’s commitment to accelerating developmental works across the Nagrota constituency, stating that continuity of this development can only be ensured through the victory of BJP candidate Devyani Rana.

Bharat Bhushan said that under PM Modi’s leadership, Jammu & Kashmir has entered a new era of opportunity. He called for collective efforts to take this mission to the grassroots level and empower common citizens.

Ayodhya Gupta urged all workers to strengthen booth-level participation and ensure full voter mobilization. He said that every booth must become a centre of the BJP’s vision of development.

Devyani Rana, the BJP’s candidate for the Nagrota by-election, expressed her gratitude to the leadership and reaffirmed her commitment to serve the people with honesty and dedication. She said that the welfare policies and schemes of the Modi government have transformed the lives of the needy and pledged to carry PM Modi’s vision to every corner of the Nagrota constituency.

BJP National General Secretary and Prabhari (in-charge) for J&K, Tarun Chugh, along with BJP J&K President and MP (Rajya Sabha) Sat Sharma (CA), General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul, In-charge of the Nagrota Assembly by-election and former MLA Sham Lal Sharma, By-election Co-in-charge Bharat Bhushan (Vice President and DDC Chairperson), District Prabhari Ayodhya Gupta, and BJP candidate for the Nagrota Assembly constituency Devyani Rana, along with other senior leaders, party cadre, and members of the public, listened to the broadcast at Booth No. 77 in Upper Panjgrain, Nagrota Assembly Constituency.
