LoP chairs BJP Legislative Party Meeting in Kashmir

Srinagar: Leader of the Opposition, Jammu & Kashmir, Sunil Sharma, today chaired an important meeting of the BJP Legislative Party in Srinagar.

The meeting was convened to deliberate on a range of crucial political and legislative matters, including preparations for tomorrow’s Rajya Sabha elections, formulation of the party’s strategy for the upcoming Assembly session, and discussions on several public and developmental issues concerning the Union Territory.

During the meeting, Sharma emphasized the need for a united and coordinated approach among all BJP legislators to effectively present the voice of the people and the vision of the party in legislative forums. He highlighted the importance of constructive debate and proactive participation in the Assembly to strengthen democratic values and ensure that the policies of the Union Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reach the grassroots level in Jammu & Kashmir.

“The BJP stands firmly committed to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a peaceful, progressive, and developed Jammu & Kashmir. Our focus remains on ensuring good governance, transparency, and inclusive development that benefits every section of society,” said Sunil Sharma while addressing the legislators.

Prominent leaders, including Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary of BJP, Sat Sharma, President of BJP J&K, and Ashok Koul, State General Secretary (Organization) of BJP, were also present at the meeting. Their presence added valuable insights into the party’s organizational and legislative roadmap.

The meeting concluded with a pledge by all members to work in unity and uphold the ideals and values of the Bharatiya Janata Party, ensuring that every citizen of Jammu & Kashmir benefits from the ongoing developmental journey.
