He outlined plans for infrastructure upgrades and implementation of welfare schemes under the Tribal Affairs department, aimed at promoting holistic development and creating sustainable opportunities for tribal communities.

He emphasized that the government is focused on safeguarding the rights of tribal communities through the implementation of various flagship schemes and targeted welfare initiatives.

“These flagship schemes and initiatives are aimed at bridging the developmental gaps, improving living standards and ensuring the socio-economic empowerment of tribal communities across Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Javed Rana reaffirmed the commitment of the Omar Abdullah-led government to inclusive development, underscoring that tribal welfare and empowerment remain a top priority in all policy and development efforts.

He said that all initiatives will be implemented with transparency and efficiency, ensuring that tribal communities are active stakeholders in planning and decision making processes.
