LG hosts dignitaries and releases Punjabi poetry book at Raj Bhawan

JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today received several distinguished guests and engaged in events aimed at promoting peace, literature, and community dialogue at Raj Bhawan.

His Holiness Acharya Dr Lokesh Muni Ji, Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and the World Peace Centre, called on the Lieutenant Governor to discuss initiatives fostering peace, harmony, and inter-faith dialogue. During the meeting, plans for establishing a Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti were also deliberated. Accompanying him were Sandeep Jain, National Secretary of the All India Jain Conference, and Pankaj Jain, Patron of the Bharatiya Jain Sanghatna, J&K.

The Lieutenant Governor also released a book of Punjabi poetry, “Mele Pattanan De”, authored by noted writer Padma Dr Jitendra Udhampuri. He lauded the author for his literary contributions and congratulated him on enriching the cultural landscape.

In addition, Advocate Ankur Sharma, BJP Spokesperson, and Vandana Kumari, former Sarpanch of Flora Nagbani, Jammu, called on the Lieutenant Governor. The meetings focused on regional issues and community welfare initiatives.
