Renowned Poet, writer and journalist Zahid Mukhtar passes away

Anantnag: Renowned poet, a prolific writer, a critic, actor, broadcaster and journalist, Zahid Mukhtar passed away,Thursday morning, at his residence in Anantnag.
Reports coming in from South Kashmir confirmed the sad demise as condolences have started pouring in from the iterary circles in Kashmir.
Known for his numerous works in the field of literature and journalism, he was especially hailed for his contributions to Urdu and Kashmiri languages as he authored several books that earned him praise and a high stature among the literary circles here.
We at Kashmir images condole the sad demise and pray for the departed soul. Mukhtar has a special place in our hearts.
The Nimaz-e-Janaza will be offered at Sherbagj Anantnag at 3:00 PM.
