Kupwara: Central Prabhari Officer reviews progress of KPIs under ADP

KUPWARA:  Union Joint Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), and Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) for District Kupwara, Sarita Chauhan, today visited District Kupwara to review the performance of the district under the Aspirational District Programme (ADP).

On her arrival, Sarita Chauhan inspected various stalls installed by different departments at the DC Office Complex, showcasing interventions undertaken to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under ADP.

Sanction letters under different schemes of the Agriculture and allied sectors were distributed to the concerned beneficiaries during the inspection of the stalls.

The Central Prabhari Officer also chaired a high-level meeting of district and sectoral officers to review the progress on key performance indicators (KPIs) under the ADP framework.

The DC Kupwara briefed about the progress achieved so far under ADP regarding the five core thematic areas of the Aspirational District Programme, viz. Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture & Water Resources, Financial Inclusion & Skill Development, and Basic Infrastructure.

Sarita Chauhan took detailed feedback from the concerned officers on the implementation status of various centrally sponsored schemes and initiatives undertaken in the district, which are contributing to KPIs improvement. She emphasized the need for data-driven governance and urged departments to intensify focused efforts to bridge the gaps under these thematic areas.

Appreciating the progress made relating to several indicators, she urged all departments to have interdepartmental convergence of efforts to improve the performance of the district in Health, education, nutrition, skill development, as well as financial inclusion sectors. Departments assured to central prabhari officer to intensify focused initiatives and regular monitoring so that the district achieves improved delta ranking in the coming quarter.
