KPDCL announces scheduled power shutdowns across Kashmir

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns across multiple areas in the valley to carry out pruning of trees and branch cutting near 33 KV lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL: 33 KV Wanpoh SICOP Line: Power supply to Shamsipora, SICOP, Veeri, Zirpora, Srigufwara, and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on October 15 and 20, 2025. The Shamshipora, SICOP, Zirpora, Veeri, and Cheeniwader receiving stations will remain off during this period.

33 KV Awantipora Sangam Lines (1st and 2nd): Supply to Bijbehara Town, Sangam, Khiram, Marhama, Panzgam, Kaigam, Chersoo, Marhama, and nearby areas will be disrupted from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on October 13 and 18, 2025, while Sangam, Khiram, Marhama, Khelan, LIS Khiram, Sirhasma, Dugipora, Panzgam, and K Koot receiving stations will remain offline.

33 KV Gopalpora Pahalgam Line: Hutmurrah, Salia, Sallar, Aishmuqam, Batkoot, and Pahalgam receiving stations will be off from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on October 11 and 13, 2025, affecting power supply to Hutmurrah, Saller, Kuller, Aishmuqam, Batkoot, Pahalgam, and surrounding areas.

33 KV Gopalpora Iqbalabad Line: Iqbalabad receiving station will remain off on October 15, 2025, from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM, affecting Mattan, Iqbalabad, and nearby areas.

33 KV Moman Tap Line: Moman receiving station will be offline on October 14, 2025, from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM, disrupting power supply to Moman.

KPDCL has urged residents and businesses to make necessary arrangements during the scheduled shutdowns and expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused.
