KVIC organized various programmes under SEVA PARV

Srinagar: As part of the ongoing Sewa Parv 2025, a series of impactful activities were organised by Khadi and Village Industries Commission on Friday at its training Centre, PMTC KVIC Pampore.

At the forefront of the programmes, Anil Kumar Sharma, Principal PMTC KVIC Pampore, presented a welcome address to the participants.

Starting with the programmes Plantation drive in collaboration with the Forest Department was held, in which State Director KVIC J&K Rajesh Kumar, Principal PMTC KVIC Pampore Anil Kumar Sharma, Officials from the Forest Department, school children and staff of PMTC Pampore Participated.

During the plantation drive large number of trees were planted in the campus of PMTC Pampore, promoting greenery and environmental awareness.

Further, PMTC Pampore, along with the Municipal Committee Pampore, organised a cleanliness drive under the “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” campaign, encouraging public participation for a cleaner environment.

In the meantime, a drawing competition was also held in which school children participated. Winners of the competition were awarded with the trophies.

Also, a yoga session was organised in which school children, employees of KVIC and forest department officials participated.

Last but not least debate competition was also held, in which school children gave details about various topics.

At the end of the programme, Anil Kumar Sharma, Principal PMTC KVIC Pampore, presented a vote of thanks to all who participated in the programme.

It is pertinent to mention that the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is celebrating Sewa Parv 2025 from September 17 to October 2, 2025, as a nationwide festival of service, creativity, and cultural pride. Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047, Sewa Parv aims to bring together communities, institutions, and individuals in a collective movement of Sewa (service), creativity, and cultural pride.
