Kupwara: As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada to mark the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Jammu & Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a blood donation camp at Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara.
The initiative was inaugurated by BJP General Secretary (Organization) J&K, Ashok Koul, in the presence of senior party leaders and local functionaries.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from BJP workers, supporters, and members of the local community who came forward to donate blood voluntarily.
Following the blood donation drive, a medical camp was also organized at the venue. The camp adopted a multi-disciplinary approach, offering medical consultations and distributing essential medicines free of cost to needy patients.
Those present on the occasion included J&K BJP State General Secretary Anwar Khan, Secretary & Prabhari Kupwara Wani Mudasir, State Media Co-Incharge Adv. Sajid Yousuf Shah, District President Kupwara Rafiq Shah, along with other senior party activists.
Addressing the gathering at SDH Kupwara, Ashok Koul said that Seva Pakhwada is not merely a campaign but a collective effort to reach out to society with compassion, responsibility, and dedication. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always emphasized that service to humanity is the true service to the nation.
“Today’s blood donation camp and medical services are small steps towards ensuring that no one is deprived of timely healthcare. The people of Kupwara have shown tremendous spirit by participating in large numbers, and this reflects the shared resolve to strengthen the bond of service and humanity,” he said.
Anwar Khan, speaking on the occasion, said that the BJP remains committed to uplifting the underprivileged, addressing local health concerns, and ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes and initiatives reach every household.
